SPIRE (Supporting People in Rural Europe) is a new project launched to tackle domestic abuse in rural communities.

The project has been set up by four partner organisations, each representing a different rural European community:

Our aim is to work together and learn from one another, in order to find new ways of dealing with rural domestic abuse.

As well as helping to raise awareness of abuse, we’ve created this website to provide communities with the resources they need to help those experiencing it.

For example, we’ve recently produced leaflets about rural domestic abuse, available in English, Spanish, Greek and Swedish.

Please visit the Free Resources section of the website to find out more.

Domestic abuse is a major issue throughout Europe and we really need your help to put an end to the suffering it causes.
